Mat Classes

Classes are for both men and women.

Each class has a maximum group of 12 allowing for close guidance and support, helping you to achieve correct alignment and movement.

You will learn the essence of Pilates including breathing, pelvic and shoulder girdle stabilisation and how to use the underlying abdominal muscles through a range of different exercises.

Each Class is tailored to the individual needs and capabilities of the participants.

If you are a beginner to Pilates it is recommended that you attend a one-to-one session with Beth before joining a class.  This aids you to gain a clearer understanding of Pilates.

Classes are taught in courses of approximately 6 or 7 weeks per term. Each class is £8.50 per hour.

The course of classes is payable in advance. Payment is by cash, cheque or bank transfer only.

If you are unable to attend one of your classes due to illness or unforeseen circumstances you may make up this lesson by attending another one of Beth’s classes within the same term where spaces are available.

Individual Tuition

Faster results can be achieved through individual sessions. I will specifically tailor exercises to meet your own aspirations and needs. Specific problem-areas can be targeted by an exercise, but always in relation to the rest of one’s body.

One-to-one Pilates also works well if you have an existing injury or a disability which requires individual attention and for those who wish to get up to speed in a class.

Private one-to-one sessions can be held in the comfort of your own home, at your workplace or at an agreed local venue.

Individual tuition – £35 per hour session.

Cancellations will be charged at the full rate unless 24 hours notice is given. Payment is by cash, cheque or bank transfer only.
