About Beth
I first became interested in Pilates in 2000 when I was working as a Chiropractor and saw the amazing results some of my patients achieved through Pilates. This inspired me to attend classes myself and I loved Pilates from my very first session!
I run my group Pilates classes in Henleaze. I also offer one-to-one, one-to-two and smaller group Pilates sessions in Westbury Park, Bishopston, Redland, Henleaze, Clifton, Cotham, Stoke Bishop and the surrounding areas of Bristol.
I am a member of the Body Control Pilates Association. I have completed comprehensive training and work to a maximum class size of 12 to ensure close supervision and support. I hold up to date insurance and follow set standards of continuing education and development.
I am also a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs Level 3) ~ part of the government’s national register which aims to ensure that all exercise professionals are suitably knowledgeable and qualified.
My aim as a Pilates teacher is to help my clients feel great, both physically and mentally, by educating them to use their bodies in a more natural way to prevent problems arising in the future.
The exercises I teach are precise and flowing movements that engage the mind as well as the body, strengthen and stretch the muscles, and add flexibility to joints. I also like to have a little fun and create a welcoming environment.
The result is better posture and improved coordination, all without too much repetition, whilst also assuring an enjoyable experience along the way!
Please contact me about coming to join one of my Pilates classes in Henleaze and give Pilates a go!
